These activities form a unique blend that include recreation, discipleship, and Bible memorization, in order to help children know, understand, and apply the Word of God to their lives. Your child spending time in a fun environment, formed by the Word, is a great way to help him or her understand Jesus and love Him more.
These studies on Sunday mornings are at the heart of what we do in First Irving Kids. Your child will receive foundational Bible teaching in an exciting atmosphere at 9:30am. In addition, the kid's ministry desires to equip families with discipleship resources each week which coordinates with the current sermon series.
Kindergarten - 5th graders are encouraged to gather on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:45pm for a fun time of Bible study, games and activities while their parents are in prayer gathering.
We offer a weekly program that helps kids in 4th - 6th grade learn to hide the Word of God in their hearts. Bible Drillers meet weekly (September - April) on the kid's floor on Sunday afternoons from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Kids Worship Choir is a part of our KidJam program on Wednesday nights during the school year.
