Making Disciples For The Glory Of God

We exist to make disciples locally and globally for the glory of God.

Living out this mission as a local body of believers, we must live in a gospel-centered community with one another. We believe God’s word encourages gospel-centered community as the context of local disciple-making within the body of Christ. The means for our local disciple-making is our Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) classes that meet on Sunday mornings and in different gatherings throughout the week. We offer ABF classes for every age and stage and life circumstance. Our Adult Bible Fellowships have Five Aims we hope to accomplish as we pursue local disciple-making and seek to glorify Christ:

Know God's Word

We want to be a Church who are committed to knowing who God is through the study of His Word. This happens through three avenues: personal devotion, small group discipleship, and through the teaching of His Word.

  • Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. - Psalm 1:1-2
Gospel Community

Live in Gospel Community

We want to be a Church that loves one another the way that Christ has loved us. This involves spurring one another to good works and keeping each other accountable in our pursuit to to live holy lives.

  • Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. - Ephesians 4:25
Walk in the Spirit

Walk in the Spirit

We want to be a Church who walk according to the Holy Spirit and not according to the flesh. Our lives are set on serving the needs of other and not our own interests.

  • But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. - Galatians 5:16-18
Increase in Generosity

Increase in Generosity

We want to be a Church who are always increasing in our faithfulness to give back to the God who has been so merciful in giving us so much and to serve His Church

  • You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. - 2 Corinthians 9:11
  • Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2
Multiply the Mission

Multiply the Mission

We want to be a Church who pass along the gospel entrusted to us to the next generation and to those around. We do this in two ways: by discipling followers of Christ toward greater maturity and by sharing Christ with the lost world.

  • Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18-20
