About Cory
Cory joined the First Irving staff in March 2020 as college minister after moving from Wake Forest, NC. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Communication Studies and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Emily and they have two children, Hallie and Ezra.
Cory desires to equip the members of First Irving for the work of ministry, to see Christ formed in every member at First Irving, and to help First Irving fulfill the Great Commission to the glory of God. He is an avid sports fan, coffee enthusiast, competitive board gamer, and loves to spend time outside with his wife and kids.
