Ruth

Ruth

The book of Ruth, set against the turbulent backdrop of Israel’s judges, reminds us that even when our lives feel empty or marked by loss, God’s providence is never idle. In the midst of our emptiness and hardship, He faithfully works to accomplish His purposes, demonstrating His covenant love and steadfast faithfulness in fulfilling His promises. Through this story, God brings life, redemption, and hope to Ruth and Naomi, and ultimately to all His people, pointing us forward to the true fulfillment of His covenant in Jesus Christ, the offspring through whom all God’s promises are accomplished and in whom our empty lives are made full.
