About Cory
Cory joined the First Irving staff in March 2020 as the college minister after moving from Wake Forest, NC. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Communication Studies and Southeastern Seminary with a Master of Divinity in May 2022. In 2024, Cory was affirmed and set apart by the church to serve as a Pastor of First Baptist Church of Irving. He is married to Emily and they have three children, Hallie, Ezra, and Lucas.
Cory desires to see the college students of First Irving love the church and fulfill the Great Commission. He is an avid sports fan, coffee enthusiast, competitive board gamer, and loves to spend time outside with his wife and kids. Send him an email if you would like to connect!
