MacArthur High School is located in North Irving and was opened in the Fall of 1964. MacArthur High School is 1 of 6 High Schools within the Irving Independent School district, and is home to a little under 3,000 students. MacArthur’s school colors are red, black, and white, and have the cardinal as their mascot.
Our Partnership with MacArthur Highschool
Our church has had the wonderful opportunity to serve the MacArthur Football team in a number of different ways since about 2014. Our partnership is built around church members sponsoring a player for the football season by writing them notes that are Gospel-filled encouragements. These notes are placed in goodie-bags that is turned in at the church every week during the season. We also have the opportunity to host 2-3 dinners a season at the MacArthur High School cafeteria with the players and their parents.
The aim of our partnership is to serve and love our community in what ever way we can, while praying for opportunities to form strong relationships, aimed with the goal of having Gospel conversations.

We encourage church members to participate in this partnership by either sponsoring a player, donating gatorades, snacks, and food for the goodie-bags and team dinners, and by praying for Gospel fruit as we build relationships and have Gospel conversations.
