First Irving offers a Mother's Day Out program called "Kids Day Out" for children ages 15 months to 5 years old. The purpose of our program is not only to provide care for your children, but to help prepare them for kindergarten through intentional instruction in a fun and caring space.
Classes meet twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
First Baptist Church of Irving has been serving the Irving community for over 120 years.
Each class uses custom curriculum derived form Texas State Standards for Early Childhood development. we use a variety of hands on methods to cover subjects including: Number and Letter Recognition, Language Development, fine motor skills, and much more.
To ensure a more individualized care, we offer classes with small student to teacher ratios. Our dedicated teaching staff is committed to nurturing each child with the same love and care that Christ shows us. We consider it a privilege to be a part of your child's early education, helping them reach their learning milestones with joy and confidence.

Kids Day Out Summer Session: June 9-August 1, 2025 (Closed June 16-20 for VBS and July 3)
Enrollment is open to children who are 15 months through 5 years.
We were so blessed to have KDO - the teachers are amazing and KDO helped establish an early love of learning, lifelong friendships, and helped grow their faith. We also love the safety and cleaning protocols KDO has in place to know the kids are protected. We recommend KDO for any friends that have younger kids.

Kids Day Out is hands down the most worthwhile investment for your child during their preschool years.
