About 'Tayo
Adetayo Adekunle (‘Tayo) joined First Irving in the Summer of 2017 having relocated with his family to the United States from Nigeria and has served the Lord in various ways, including as a Deacon, a community group leader in the College Ministry, a teacher in ABF, on the Connections team, and in the SEALS ministry. He was called and affirmed by the Church to serve as a lay Pastor in 2023. He has a desire to see 'Christ formed in' His Church.
‘Tayo and his wife, ‘Doyin are blessed with two children, Ayomide and Ayomikun. He currently works as a business analytics professional with AT&T. ‘Tayo enjoys spending time with his family and community group, playing and watching sports, hiking, going on road trips, and likewise serving the local Church.
