Scripture: Haggai 1:1-15
Would you admit that you have a tendency to be apathetic toward God? Big Idea: Prioritizing God and His Word produces repentance and obedience. Driving Questions: 1) Why must man be delivered from apathy? 2) How does God bring us out of apathy? God graciously points out sin (1–2) God reveals specific evidence of sin (3–5) God explains why they are not flourishing (6–11) God stirs the people to obey and repent (12–15) Response: Repent and turn to God. Build up the Temple, the Body of Christ. Be reminded of God’s presence when His people obey.
